they have been doing this song latly I heard for the first time at the hootenanay and he has played every show since. I thought he said at the hoot it was a rolling stones cover but then he said it was from like the 40s or 50s , which wouldnt make it the stones. Does anyone know who orginally did the song titled "Shame on me"?

I don't have an answer to your question, but I never really liked that song until I heard live. It really rocked especially with the organ. Right on.

Is Play With Fire the one your talking about? At the recent HOB Anaheim show the only Stones cover they did was Under My Thumb.

No, I know the song she's talking about. They've been covering it for quite some time now, it was even released on the Japanese import of the 'Social Distortion' self titled. I just looked to see if they listed any credits for it, but there were no printed lyrics so they didn't have to. All I can say with any certainty is that the Stones at least covered it, I've heard their version before.

I just realized the person who posted this wasn't the same one I was thinking of when I posted a reply, and I called you a 'she'. Sorry if you're a dude.

No, it is cleveland, and it is 1990, and its very poor quality.
